LOS ANGELES (LALATE) ? A Wisconsin tornado warning 2013 today has been issued moments ago. The Wisconsin tornado warning today July 9, 2013 was issued this evening for Waushara County, reps tell news. Several other tornado warnings are being issued across the U.S. tonight as well.
The National Weather Service tells news of a strong system moving through the area. The NWS reports that ?At 629 PM CDT a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles north of Redgranite and moving east at 30 mph.? Officials also tell news that ?Numerous funnel clouds have been reported with this storm.?
As a result the NWS indicates that the system could produce a possible tornado today. It details that the ?Tornado Warning remains in effect for east central Waushara County until 645 PM CDT.? Their radar also indicates that the system is in rotation currently. The system?s possible path could include Poy Sippi. Reps also tell news ?Impact? sporadic damage to Mobile homes? roofs and vehicles.?
Several warnings have been issued for the state tonight. As Weather Underground tweeted an hour ago ?Tornado Warning for Portage and Waushara Counties in WI until 6:15 PM CDT?. It added moment ago the latest update, ?Tornado Warning for Waushara County in WI until 6:45 PM CDT?.
